Mr. Faisal Abdullahi Warsame

Mr. Faisal Abdullahi Warsame was appointed as the Director General of the Ministry Puntlnad in 8 July 2019.

The Director General is responsible for the administration of the entire Ministry and is the lead in the oversight of the implementation of all policies.

Mr. Faisal has an experienced senior public financial management financial reforms, he work adviser with experience in both the public and private sector in Somalia and the United states of America.

Prior to his appointment as the director, he was a working with the Ministry of Finance as an PFMIS adviser and expert.

Fasyal Warsame holds an MBA in International public Finance and Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information System. He has an experience of Public finance, Analyst/project management with more than 10 years. He have experience in managing finances, tracking budgets and forecasting projects. As well as knowledge in ERP financial control systems.

Faysal Warsame is fluent in Somali, English, Kiswahili
